Tracey West has written dozens of books for children. She has never met a real dragon, but she has met some wizards, and they were all very nice. Tracey is the stepmom to three grown-up kids. She shares her home with her husband, one cat, two dogs, and a bunch of chickens. They live in the misty mountains of New York state, where it is easy to imagine dragons roaming free in the green hills.
