Let Annwyn Avalon, a practicing water witch herself, take you into the world of water magic. The water magic and lore in this book focuses on the Celtic tradition, but draws on other water magic traditions as well, and features rainwater, as well as lakes, rivers, oceans, canals, swamps, and other watery locations, together with the folk and magical customs that have been and are still practiced at these places. The book teaches the listener how to set up a water altar at home, how to connect with water spirits, and how to gather or create water witch tools. Listeners are encouraged to visit local water sites but will also find an abundance of material to perform at home. Included are practical examples and exercises so any listener can start to take up spell work and establish their spiritual connection to water.
Annwyn Avalon is a water witch, a water priestess, and the founder of Triskele Rose Witchcraft, an Avalonian witchcraft tradition. She has devoted her life to the study of art, witchcraft, and magic. Annwyn is also a Reiki master teacher with a BFA in sculpture, and a BA in anthropology with emphasis on plant and human interactions. She has earned an apprentice certificate in herbalism. The author of two books, Water Witchcraft and The Way of the Water Priestess, Annwyn writes for the Magical Times magazine in the UK and Patheos Pagan in the US. She has contributed to other published works such as The New Aradia and Brigid's Light. She lives in Glastonbury, England.
Wendy Tremont King, a classically trained actor and accomplished puppeteer, got her start in audiobook narration as a volunteer for The Lighthouse for the Blind and has narrated over 100 audiobooks in a variety of genres. She has performed in live and recorded multi-cast audio theater productions with Pocket Universe, The One Act Players, Misfits Audio, and Shoestring Radio. Her resonant voice, wit, and generous sense of humor is described as having an authentic emotional quality. Wendy lives in Buffalo, New York, and can be found throwing stones at the Buffalo Curling Club.
