Time Is a Mother
“I was stunned by Vuong’s gorgeous prose and raw revelations. Time is a Mother was an intense experience. The audiobook is less that two hours, but I have spent days thinking about Vuong’s words. I highly recommend this incredible poetry collection.”Karen, Tattered Cover

How to Keep House While Drowning
A Gentle Approach to Cleaning and Organizing
“I absolutely loved the book and wanted to immediately listen to it again! I was also thrilled to be reading a book written by a Licensed Professional Counselor about cleaning of all things! This book's primary focus is mental health, and this is the lens in which cleaning is viewed from. Davis addresses trauma and how it can impact the completion of certain tasks in the home, introduces self-care kits and placing them around the house, and dedicates a portion of her book on caring for Black hair. What I think is most important about this book is its emphasis on disconnecting cleaning, morality, and identity. You are not a bad parent or person if your home is messy. Throughout the book, Davis offers and encourages self-compassionate reframing of thoughts about cleaning. She prompts the reader to reflect on where these thoughts and feelings about cleaning and its assumed connection to self-worth and competency come from. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, fatigue, depression, ADHD, or lack of support, or wish to have a healthier relationship with cleaning and yourself, I would highly recommend this book.”R. Aimee, The Bluestocking Bookshop
“Book Lovers by Emily Henry is such a great way to kick off the summer season. Everything about it was entertaining: the banter, the sparks between the two love interests, the wry commentary on Hallmark-esque romance movies, the tender and fierce relationship between the two sisters, the two bookshops that influenced the characters so much... I could go on!”Rebekah, Gottwals Books

Run, Rose, Run
By James Patterson & Dolly Parton
Narrated by: Dolly Parton, Kelsea Ballerini, James Fouhey, Kevin T. Collins, Peter Ganim, Luis Moreno, Soneela Nankani, Ronald Peet, Robert Petkoff, Ella Turenne & Emily Woo Zeller
Length: 10 hours 18 minutes
“What a fun read! I knew anything Dolly Parton participated in would have to be good, and since I have enjoyed many books by James Patterson in the past I expected Run, Rose, Run to be an enjoyable read. What I didn’t expect was how big a part Dolly Parton must have had in writing the book because it was a close up look at what it takes to be a star in Nashville and what the life of a country singer is like. There was some mystery and there were some pretty intense action scenes, but the main story was all about the music. The characters were fascinating, and I assume were based in part on Dolly and on people she has known, and the book was filled with songwriting and lyrics to songs that I assume will be on the album that Dolly is making to go along with the book. The story was made even more enjoyable by the fact that I listened to the audio and having Dolly Parton doing the voice of RuthAnna and Kelsea Ballerini doing the voice of AnnieLee. I can't wait until the album based on songs from the book is released!”Nancy, Fiction Addiction
