Karen Joy Fowler is the author of six novels, including Booker Prize finalist and international bestseller We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves, Wit's End, and The Jane Austen Book Club-which spent thirteen weeks on the New York Times bestseller list, was a New York Times Notable Book, and was adapted as a major motion picture from Sony Pictures. Her novel Sister Noon was a finalist for the 2001 PEN/Faulkner Award for fiction, and her short story collection Black Glass won the World Fantasy Awards. Fowler and her husband, who have two grown children, live in Santa Cruz, California.
A stage and voice actor, Sarah Mollo-Christensen received her BA from Dartmouth College and graduated from the Atlantic Theater Company's Acting Conservatory in New York City. As an actress, she has appeared on prestigious regional stages, including the Folger Shakespeare Theatre in Washington DC. Sarah enjoys finding the humor and depth in the stories she narrates, and according to AudioFile magazine, "hits the awkward moments and the sweet with equal sensitivity." In addition to audiobooks, her narration can be heard on several episodes of public radio's This American Life.
Gabriel Vaughan is an Audie Award-winning narrator and classically trained actor. He grew up without television in western Massachusetts and listened to a lot of "books on tape" as a kid, so narrating audiobooks enjoyably feels like coming full circle. He is a founding member of the Tennessee Shakespeare Company and co-owner of Little Town Studios together with his wife and fellow narrator, Piper Goodeve. He has a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and studied acting in London at British American Drama Academy.
