Finding Comfort is a book about easing grief and trauma after unimaginable horrors—mass shootings, catastrophic natural disasters, and terrorist acts. Through personal recollections of responding to tragedy, combined with a practical application, Earl Johnson offers listeners the tools they need to seek support and offer it to those in need. The book walks through the life-cycle of disaster care from the first hours and days to the years that follow.

Having been a care provider in a variety of events, Johnson shares valuable wisdom from those who have worked in the worst situations. Whether you're a first responder, a care professional, a victim of a disaster, a family member, or following a disaster on television or social media, Finding Comfort gives listeners guidance and support. Listeners don't have to wait for tragedy. This work helps one be prepared through examples and practical suggestions. This book is a ready resource to both those in need looking for help and to those wishing to provide it.

Earl Johnson was one of the founders of the Spiritual Care function in the American Red Cross. He helped develop the organization's Psychological First Aid curriculum and Coping with Deployment. Johnson worked on "Light Our Way" for the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster.

Ever since Adam Lofbomm pressed "Record" on his Fisher-Price recorder back in 1984, he's been bringing worlds to life in words. Over the years, his passion for language inspired him to read broadly, write extensively, speak publicly, perform on-stage and on-camera, but when he stepped into the vocal booth for his first narration job in Seoul, Korea, back in 2006, all those many pieces just clicked into place. He realized then and there that voice acting was what he was made to do. Over the last eleven years working as a professional voice-over actor, Adam has had the great fortune to collaborate with some of the best publishers and organizations in the world. Whether or not Malcolm Gladwell was right when he said that ten-thousand hours will make you world-class at something, Adam did stop counting after he surpassed that milestone in 2016.
