Eric Flint is a modern master of alternate history fiction, with three million books in print. He's the author/creator of the multiple New York Times bestselling Ring of Fire series starting with the novel 1632. He is coauthor, with David Drake, of six popular novels in the Belisarius alternate Roman history series. Flint was for many years a labor union activist. He lives near Chicago, Illinois.
Dave Freer is an ichthyologist turned author who lives on Flinders Island (between mainland Australia and Tasmania) with his wife, four dogs, four cats, and two sons. He is the author of A Mankind Witch and the Dragon's Ring series, and coauthor, with Eric Flint, of The Sorceress of Karres, Pyramid Scheme, and Slow Train to Arcturus, with Mercedes Lackey and Eric Flint, of The Shadow of the Lion, This Rough Magic, The Wizard of Karres, Much Fall of Blood, and Burdens of the Dead.
Alex Knox is a classically trained actor, equally comfortable as a leading man and a comedic character performer. In addition to a long list of theater credits, he has appeared in commercials, hosted a web series ("Science Talks with Alex Knox"), and, as an improv performer, entertained thousands of guests at Southern California's theme parks. Alex wrote No Static at All, a one-man play about seeking spiritual enlightenment through the music of Steely Dan, and has performed the show to sold-out houses in New York, Seattle, and Los Angeles. He is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and the Yale School of Drama.
