Sedley Abercrombie has had a passion for reading since she was a young child growing up in New Orleans. After Emma and Claire were born, Sedley read to them often and both learned to read before kindergarten. Since moving to Davidson County in 2005, Sedley has worked in school and public libraries, served on numerous library committees, and has worked as adjunct professor teaching courses including children's and young adult literature.
