Fact & Fiction opened in 1986 in downtown Missoula. We are an independent bookstore specializing in the best stories the world has to offer. While maintaining a wide variety of new releases and bestsellers, we specialize in Montana authors and stories, including a well-curated selection of books by indigenous writers. We also prominently feature books from small and indie presses around the world. Customers can expect to find the books they’d never expect to find, as well as a warm and inclusive environment for readings and community events.
